Well I woke up at 5am and headed out to my spot on a farmers Field to see if I can start the 2009 goose season off with a bang. I setup my decoys and setup my pop up blind and...... you guess it waited. No sooner being there the coyotes started howling I heard 4 of them and had a chance to take 3 of them but didn't have a rifle. Kinda creepy to hear them howl a couple of feet from you not be able to see them until the light pops up. Well it started off great as soon as legal light showed a lone goose fly's my way and I drop it first shot. I was excited thinking this year is starting off great then more and more flew by me and presented shots but I missed every shot "can't say I know what happened or what went wrong". Got cocky I guess.... all in all I enjoyed the start to the season and didn't go home skunked. Happy hunting

Any who here's a crappy vid of the coyotes howling its was dark so things dont work great or show up at all.

And here's the lone soldier that I got
