ROM, what screws do you need ?
I may have some in my loose screw box.
make of ring and base.
failing that, your local Italian or Reliable or Stillwater Porting goods retailers should have what you need.

The bases are Leupold. The screws were too short and they stripped. I cannibalized 2 screw from set of rings with no name on them. The cannibalized ring screws were at least 30 years old and worked great thank goodness. Now I need to replace them.

They are 1 cm long including the hex head. They seem to fit perfect! I wonder what my chances are at the local hardware store in Nelson.

If it's the screws holding the bases the the rifle, you most likely won't find them at a hardware store as they are probably 8-40 - number 8, 40 threads per inch, and much finer than common 8-24 or 8-32 machine screws. You must have a gun shop around that area somewhere, no? If so, they will likely have what you need.
