so i had been hunting for about an hour and had not seen anything ,it was dead calm out with no wind at all. id gone about 2 kms and was heading for a side trail that has a couple of clearings that sometimes hold deer.as i turned down the trail there was a buck on the trail looking straight at me.i did not have time to use my range finder, and i judged it at 35 yards it was standing perfect broadside ,so i drew back and centred between my 30 yard and 40yard pin. and then he started walking away. he stoped quartering away from me after a couple of yards, i let fly at just in front of his hind leg and i heard the arrow hit ,he bulted into the trees and i heard him crash but was not sertain if he had gone down.I waited for 20 mins and thought id better try and find him as it started to look like rain and i was wooried about losing the blood trail. so i could not find any blood were i hit him but found a good track were he entered, i went in about twenty yards and, found my arrow which had bubbly blood on it so i new id lunged it .now i had an awesome blood trail and he was laying 20 yards away.the arrow had gone through liver and lung and cut a hole through the top of the heart. he went 50 yards total.IT WAS A COMPLETE PASS THROUGH.I was using my mathews bow with montec broadheads.picture 4 posts below!!

I rarely use camo unless its really bad weather, its difficalt to get goretex hunting gear thats not camo any more! I wont put my goretex camo on until october!
wax cotten clothing works well for bird hunting as its waterproof and thornproof if your beatin through the brush
