Region 3 seasons- Reason for 4 point or all buck

I am a new hunter

went a couple times last year with my uncle around Kamloops last year late season. got skunked but had a blast just being out there!

This year I am going to try to get out as much as possible.

Question:

When to go?

In October the season is any buck. Is there more activity or less during October? Why do they restrict it to 4 point early and late in the season?

i think and this is just my opinion and i could be out to lunch..the 4 point early season is cuz the deer are around alot more and not spooked up yet..if it started with an any buck season i m sure they would get slaughtered..and in the late season its 4 point cuz of the rut and the bucks being stupid..

3 kills is right. also during the any buck season every tom dick and harry are driving the roads looking for a buck.

So really,. just go anytime and make sure you get a good look through the binocs before you shoot? Sounds good.
