Lots of times I wear jeans to hunt. The wool pants generally can stay home until October. Wrangler has just answered our prayers. I picked these jeans up at Wholesale Sports - the ones on the left are insulated with Thinsulate. $36.99 and $59.99.

Jeans for hunting suck.

MicroTex cabela's pants are the shizzle, both me and my hunting partner were out the other day and were drenched, our legs never felt cold and they are whisper quiet, and super comfy.

It doesn't rain in the truck Bubs. But man, do ya look cool when ya step outside at Timmies in the morning!

Yes, sooo true:biggrin: The denim does definitly have better abrasion resistance for getting in and out of the truck, you should get many years of faithful service with denim

They also make a sweet upland jean that's half cordura on the front. They're awesome

Denim is nice, but I agree with Brambles on the Microtex, been wearing them for ten years. They shake dry, and are always quiet.

Who asked you anyways?

I'm gonna wear 'em in GG's truck, I'll blend right in with his seats and he won't even know I'm there (except for the occassional smart-assed comment)! 8)

Jeans don't have enough give where it counts, they stick to you when they get wet. Hate them.
The wife got me camo sweatpants; comfortable and warm.

Blue jeans, when wet have the insulating value of a brick. We call them wicks, meaning that once they get wet the moisture runs right up to your belt buckle.

Jeans are for fair weather hunting for sure. They don't fare well in the wet. But for clear days they work well.

I just washed these ones for the first time, and they came out super soft and quiet.

They'll look nice with your Addidas running shoes:D.

Now what kind of shirt goes good with those jeans? We may need a whole new section dealing strictly with hunting fashion.

I wear jeans sometimes, weather depending. I think some of my bud's $200 jeans and "Affection" of "Tap In" shirts would work well in the bush.

They'd fit a leprechaun perfectly.
