Opening day tomorrow for my 10 year old daughter. We painted a nice big orange "X" on a mulie buck while scouting yesterday. Had to stop short of tying it up to a tree though. That wouldn't be very sporting..

Hey out there in lala land -- want a deer in Mu 8-10 hey -- there are quite a few out there waiting for you to drop by --
Lol hey Jelvis here how the heck are yah and I hope you and your pard'ner get that deer soon --
Kelowna - Winfield east --
Highway 33 bisects Mu 8-10 do you know what bisects means ? ah lol -
Two roads to remember are -
McCulloch and Pipeline roads provide access a lot to the area -
Logging mains coming off the 33 run in and through good mule deer and whitetail hunting -
From Winfield on Hwy 97, the Beaver-Dee Lakes road runs through the top part of Mu 8-10 with pretty darn good deer hunting, coming out @ lovely Lavington B.C.
Be a winner @ Winfield or Kelowna east, in the funtastic Mu 8-10 --
Jelly - East of Kel and Win -- should bring a lot of wide grins - hey mom guess what.

Pipeline Road? I've never heard of it, and I've hunted in 8-10 for over 40 years. Jelly, can you still get your money back for that book?

Best bet is to go up Hwy 33 and check out the logging roads that go off it. If you have an LEH for 8-10, make sure you know where the boundaries are because most of the side roads extend into other MUs.

Go to Rock Creek, the back side (towards Kelowna) of Conkle Lake, it's quieter there and a good start.
