Seems yellow dogs enjoy mud holes more than any other dogs.
Looks like a busy spot. Have you set up a camera to see what's visiting?

you bet, going to set up a camera this weekend. This picture is only of one lick, there is a series of three all connected and well used. All I could see were moose tracks, but I am interested to see what other critters are using, hopefully a nice buck or two.

Super looking wallo you found. Are you guys starting to get some whitetail up that way?. Back in around 87 I was scaling logs out of Hazelton. I was working acroos the Bulkley bridge east of town and saw some whitetail does there. The CO could'nt believe it when I told him. He had never seen whitetails that far north..Go figure.

Whitetails are moving in for sure. I regulary see whitetail does on the lawson road between Telkwa and Houston. And I have talked to quite a few log haulers that have seen big whitetail bucks south of Houston. And I have friend who lives on Francois Lake who regulary sees whitetails in his back yard. I definately dont see them as regulary as mulies but they are around.

hey all, got 258 pics on my cam last night, all cows and cow/calf pairs. Probably only 2 pairs and one single cow, lots of pictures of each one.
