Well, there is not much of a story to go with this one. We left my place at 6:00 this morning. It's 15 minutes to where we started our hunt, and this guy made the mistake of poking his head out about 9 minutes into the hunt. Had him loaded, skinned, and hanging in the cooler by 8:00. My wife and kids were still in bed sleeping when we got home. :D
Last yr I got my Moose on the 16th, this is the 17th for this one. 366 days between Mooses, lol:smile:

Nothing to do now but go try to get an Elk, I guess.

Congrats. Went quadding yesterday and saw 3 bulls and a nice bou. Went back into some meadows back of one of our mountains to recover a snowmobile I found abandoned this summer. That was an adventure in its own. Drug it about 10 miles back to the truck.

Wife wants to visit a sick friend in Van this Oct, you going to be around? I might tag along, if I can get time off.

The first 2 Moose of 2009;), and if I'm not mistaken we posted the first 2 of the 08 season as well:eek:. LOL, just trying to get the excitement level up for the guys that have hunts planned for later in the season.

My hunting partners Daughter got a Moose last evening as well. I don't have pics, as I'm at work, but might be able to put up a pic later.

Good luck guys
