LEH Moose 5-01 When to go?

Have a moose draw 5-01 Oct 15 -31. We can't go for the whole time and thinking last half may be better than first? Any thoughts. We are considering a couple of previously scouted areas but are open to other ideas as well.

Main concern is whether to try to possibly catch last bit of rut Oct 15 or to wait till closer to say the 22 when they may come back out of timber some what? Any ideas?

I'd be there for the first week too!! Then if no success my truck would misteriously break down and I wouldn't be able to get the parts in till Oct. 31..:wink:

Seems general consensus is for beginning.

How much fluctuation could there possibly be for when the rut peaks /occurs considering weather ?

Not much, just quieter when it's hot. Still happens though.
