Patience, I've had good luck cow-calling from a ground blind set-up. I grew up in Terrace so I'm familiar with your area. No reason why it shouldn't be productive. Practice DAILY in the meantime in the gear /set-up you're actually going to be hunting in. Luck.

Thks! I have spent a lot of time in the area during work, bagged a few nice bucks, but just getting into bow hunting. It is a productive area, lots of moose, and lots of hunters during the 1 week rifle open season!! That season put me off moose hunting for a lot of years.
