this is a story taken from the castanet website today
Missing Hunter Found Dead He went out to find a Christmas tree - and never came back.
Search and rescue crews have found the body of a 59-year old man in the Postill Lake area.
Francis Stubbs had gone out bow hunting and to get a Christmas tree and never returned home.
A friend of Stubbs directed search crews to an area where he often hunts. Stubbs’ body was found just after 6 last night.
It appears he was killed by a falling tree
apparently he was out bowhunting for last day too. A true tragedy for sure, but at least he died doing what he loved.

Very sad, just a question, was it the tree he was cutting down that killed him? I ask as it said he was out looking for a Christmas tree as welll as hunting. Anyon know?
FYI A friend of mine had a tree fall on their boat when they were near shore on the Fraser, only a miracle it didn't kill the two people in the boat.
