Why not hunt Elk in 7-23a while you are hunting moose?

Too bad...there are some good elk in there! From what I know there is no access into 7-22 until you are pretty close to Chetwynd, Willow Creek to Hasler area. If you are willing to go that far you might as well drive through Chetwynd and hunt the 7-20A three point and antlerless GOS!

Accessible Areas of 7-31 are closer, the Clearwater-Callazon FSR and there are elk back there.

No but I have always wanted to hunt them becuase I have seen them cross the highway just north of Mckenzie Junction a few times and I don't think they get hunted much. I have been told that some tend to travel back and forth between 7-23A and 7-16A so maybe hunting close the Parsnip river?? A friend of mine had that moose draw last year but went unsuccessful and did not see any elk . He spent most of time away from the river though.
