I've been traveling the Alaska Highway a lot lately, especially between Fort St. John and Fort Nelson. Been getting a few good pictures, so thought I'd start a thread for 'em.

I usually see bou up there when I go. Specially around mile 146 north. I agree love those eastern foothills. Only gets more beautiful the further west and north you go. Nice pics, bringing back some awesome memories for me. Thanks, Moosin

That swamp donkey cow sure has a sway back on her. Maybe she was turned loose by one of those Peace River backwoods person. Judgng by her color, she seems to be well on in age.

Liard River Hot Springs (wow you feel like a million $$$ after a dip in there):

This is the outflow, downstream a bit from the pool. Small fish actually live in this water!

The melt is on pretty good up there, but the Peace Country had a less-than-average year for snow, may have been less in the Northern Rockies too.

Not sure about him, but I know the natives own the business now - it's been closed all winter.
