Looking at the map and noticed a road that leaves Hwy. 3 and skirts the border from Bridesville to Rock Creek....
Anyone familair with this area? Is it mostly private?
Have a muley doe tag for the area...
Thanks

Lots of whitetails there, try close to the three km mark on the Johnston creek road.

You should easily fill your tag on that road. There is mostly private land, but it's loaded with mulies (and road hunters... ;) Good luck.

Doe eyes , Talk to Wess at grouse ridge. He will be able to set you up. http://www.grouseridgebb.com/ He is also a fellow hunter. I know most of the ranchers on conkle lake road. Take an elk tag also.

Unless you know someone or are heading over early to seek permission, it is probably not worth the hastle to hunt from that road. There is lots of public land and lots of public mule deer across the highway, ruger#1 had some good sugestions as well. By all means drive through there one evening, it is always fun to see deer.
Most of those farmers have put up with their fair share of crap from morons over the years so they are a bit edgy.
you will have your pick of does in other areas near by.
