Go North to AULDS rd. Take a RIGHT... Take another RIGHT at the 2nd set of lights (major intersection), drive straight for about 6 minutes and you'll see it on your right hand side.

Actually if you are coming from the south take Mostar Road off of the Parkway. Once you cross the tracks make a right onto Wellington Rd. Follow Wellington Rd for about a minute - it curves around and parallels Hwy 19A and you are there. Looking forward to their opening. Mr. Conservation

yeah nice store walked around for an hour if i wasn;t leaving for vacation tomorrow i would have gone crazy.. saw lots of friends there.... i am in trouble with it being way to close to home

Checked it out today, pretty cool. Some of their prices are out of line if they want to be competitive though!

Example, Mountain House Dinners are going for $9.99, I can buy them at MEC for $5.99 and Wholesale has the same if not more buying power that MEC does!

Lots of other stuff though, I dropped about $80 today and will back soon enough :)

Wholesale does not match MEC or Valhalla Pure they sell for MSRP. Just because it says wholesale they sell at the same retail as most other shops. The only deals I have found are on ammo. For selection though they are hard to beat.

Nice to have a choice again locally. I have used WSS mail order for a couple of years and they are great. The store is impressive, I particularly like 20 metres + of rifles and shotguns with friendly staff. (New and keen?)

On a percentage basis, I still see most of my hard earned going into Carl Granlunds pocket, but WSS will be a close second.

I now have very little reason to enter into Gone Fishing and Island Outfitters, and for that reason alone I welcome WSS.

Stopped in this afternoon. Sure is bigger than I thought it would be. Great selection of the items I use. As far as price, its what I expected. But beats having to order some of these items and paying the shipping. As for having an alternative to Island outfitters, hell ya, I really don't like to give that place any more buisness then I absolutely need to. As for Gone Fishin a stones throw away from Wholesale, I picked up a hoist/gambrel there last week for 20% less then Wholesale is selling it for. I hope they manage to stay afloat with Wholesale now open.

Stopped in there this morning, nice looking store with lots of toys. Picked up some good breathable waders, wading boots, and bullets. Staff were very helpful and friendly, very good customer service. Reloading supplies were a little thin, but there is more due in about a week or so. Store is going to cost me some significant money in the next couple of years!

I drove down yesterday, and ended up walking out, spending $750!!! oops :lol: oh well, it was pretty neat.

I agree with candocad, hard to beat Carl, he's up close and personable. But it is nice to have some competetion on the rock

I went there in the evening of the opening and again Friday morning to pick up some camping stuff for the long weekend. BIG store. The fly fishermen out there will love it. What a huge fishing section especially the fly fishing section. Their pricing will be adjusted on alot of items I was told. Scotty downriggers are way high compared to Harbour Candler etc. etc.. They are not fully stocked with reloading stuff as mentioned before. Low on ammo as well. Great selection of other accessories etc. that no other store on the Island can match. The service is awesome!!! What a breath of fresh air. Give it a month or so for them to work out some things and it will be a fine store.

Oh and the best part.............................................. .................................................. ...
They are open till 9:00 p.m. on Thursday's and Friday's!!!!!!
