well just a few more days left in the lower mainland and well i still have not filled a deer tag yet was thinking going for a drive saturday any body got any ideas ware to go

In that case, try going up the west side of Stave lake and take the second road on the left with a closed gate. That area is under utilized and Ex and I saw some monster Blacktail tracks up there right on top and off to the right when you hit the "Perfect" T intersection. The tracks started at the old "borrow pit". Keep you eyes peeled for a big cat too, we saw his tracks as well. Fred

just a note....

the west stave lake area is the fraser valley special licence hunting area, you need to buy special tag to hunt here and have insurance.....just check the hunting regs
