deer elk hunting around Grasmere?

Hey guys, I'm going to be down in this area around the last part of Sep, early Oct. How is the hunting in this area? I don't need any specifics, just some general stuff. Thanks a bunch.

well I guess thats as general as you can get. How is the resident deer population? I know I'll be too early for the rut and migrating deer

Don't forget about the wolves and big horn sheep rocksteady:lol: even the odd grizz. If you can go to purple canyon while here, its worth the hike for plenty of reasons.
