Well another decent trip to Barkley Sound wrapped up this Monday. Five days of fishing and roaming the beaches made for some good stress relief. Spent two days in the Islands at a few of the usual hot spots (Lyall, Swale, Forbes, Chrow) then made our first venture offshore. With a little local knowledge and a bit of coaxing from a friend we only had to go 2 miles to '3 Mile' before we hooked into a boat load of fish. The Cohos were thick as flies and the Springs were thick as footballs. A little fog the second morning offshore but worth the adventure.

Great post. Thanks for sharing the photo's. I love that first one of the shot out back. That tiger prawn does kick *ss. There is a glow green version of it that we used last year out at 27 mile in July that was the go to lure for sure.
