No big Game, just the Whistlers. The bugs and flys were pretty brutal so didnt stick around to long ,it was pretty dam hot and didnt expect to see much as we didnt get up there early enough in the AM.

My mistake - looks like a spot I used to boot up to when I was living in that area. Beautiful country nonetheless.

Any Goats up there?

Any Goats up there?A lot of the valleys and drainages look the same here in BC,Theres a few Goats in the area ,but shes a big rugged area and it could take a few days in locating them.

I took that one in sept 2005,My bud and I just got up to the end of the road looked up and there he was,not an hour latter we were taking pics of him on that beautifull day. The first time I drew a tag up there was in 2001 and I went up solo on sept 7th. and bagged a nine inch billy, had a great spot and stock on the other side of the mountain hiking up through the thick stuff off the mainline. Went back for a buck over night on the 10th got close to a batchler group of five but the biggest one was a three point so I headed for home on the 11th and when I got close I turned on the radio and the first thing I heard was ( now all air traffic in north america has been grounded ) The first thought that hit me was (maybe I should turn around and get back up in them there mountains).

What awesome country! When I see open country like that, I can just see my mutts chasing a big old tom across the slides.....I wish....... quite the opposite to the costal salal-infested, devils club terrain I hike in!
