Griz in 7 - 23C

I got a Griz draw in 7-23C. I thought I would check it out in the middle of August on my way north for Moose. I don't know the area but it seems to have a good access road. Is it a good area for Griz? Any advice on where to begin the hunt?

In my moose area I would just fire a shot in the air and wait for them to come to see what is down but the odds of getting a tag in that area are so high I'll never get a tag.
