I just got back from rupert, I went with a couple guys that go every year, we pulled his boat, a 21 foot all the way up there, went out to stephen island to a place called sqauteree(spelling)? and tied up at a doc there, we did real well, fished for 9/10 days, cost 25 a night to moor the boat at the doc, slept on the boat, cooked on the doc, had a frickking ball, all tolled a a cheap trip, 300 fuel up 300 back, 250 for the boat doc, maybe 200 boat gas, all for 10 days of awesome fishing, . Some of the charter boats came in and I was actually amazed at what people were paying to be on the charter boats.. expensive, and they certainly weren't any more comfy than us, and they didn't get the experience we did either, though the weather was fairly shitty, it was still fun, they had towed a cabin out to the squateree, that they will be renting out now and then, so get in touch with the pr rupert yacht club, they can tell you about it, put you in contact with the guy taking care of the cabin, his name is wally mooyman, what a character, !!! a great trip!! I can't tell you enough how much fun you can have if you know someone who can get you out on a boat that isn't a charter, heck I didn't know anything about ocean fishing and I did real well, of course with the assistance of my buddies, but again what a hoot! so to get back to your question, there are tons of charters up there, just give the yacht club a call they can put you on some if thats the way you want to go... and good luck, I'm going next year again hell or high water!!!!

My dad may have found that one of his friends may be able to set us up with a boat if not its a charter. We found on for $850 for 3 people
