Hello anyone/everyone? I actually got an LEH for moose after nine years of no luck!! If anyone has information on decent moose areas in 5-02b I would be very fortuitous and grateful. I know it hasn't been open for regular season for many years and would appreciate any feedback!:grin:

Hi Silvertipp, yeah the time would most likely be the beginning of October; and any feedback from any members would be valuable!:-D

Just find a cutblock with some water and mature timber nearby and be there in the early morning or late afternoon. The first week of October should still have a pretty active rut happening and it should only diminish slightly in the 2nd week. Practice both bull and cow moose calls, more emphasis on the cow call. If you don't score, give up hunting. Oh yeah, should it be quite warm, then hunt the high elevations.
