Other thread was too long and no one wants to read all that junk...so we thought we would start a new one to keep it going.

Ok so here it is. Since everyone seems intent on posting the same information time and time again. There are around 30 threads started about the LEH draw that have been moved to the open chat where they belong. But since no one tends to look before starting another thread. Here is a place that you guys can post about the LEH draw.

This thread will be for all discussion about the draw. It will also be a place to post what animals you were drawn for.

All other threads will be deleted or merged into this thread. Please do not start another thread. It only makes more work for the mods moving threads and posts around.

Here it is. Its a sticky. Have at it post what you think, but keep it civil and abide by the forum rules. Just don't start another thread about the LEH draw.

For anyone who can't or doesn't want to make a long distance call you can call HELLO BC @ 1-800-663-7867 and ask for Limited Entry Hunting. It's a pain to keep calling that way but..........

I explained that canada post had sent it back by mistake, and when i asked if i should send it priority the CP lady said there was no need. Oh well lesson learned for next time, send priority when in doubt. The guy said there was no way to enter it now that the draw is done..guess ill have to wait till next year for ol whitey

You guys should leave the phone line free so the 240 guys that got sheep draws starting August 1st can phone in. They can book planes and or start packing.

Just checked for the 2 juniors that will be hunting with me this year and they cleaned up pretty good. Between the two they got 2 cow elk in 4-23, 2 goats in 4-23 and one moose in 4-23. First year applying for both. Beginners luck i guess.

LEH doesn't work.

In the last 10 years all I got was two bull moose draws, two Roosevelt elk, a sheep, three mule deer does and one whitetail doe permit.

Make sure you get Gatehouse to take you to your range and work on those steep uphill and downhill shots. He'll coach you!;)

It wasn't bad for us either -- I got a WT doe, and The Wife(tm) got a WT doe (both of them should have been sub-1:1 odds), but the big news is, that The Wife(tm) got an antlerless elk tag!!!!

I'm so happy, I don't even have the heart to whine about how she's got that tag 2 out of 4 years, and I've got it 0 out of 7. :)

My hunting buddy got a mule deer doe for 5-14 (Williams Lake) in Oct

I got a whitetail doe for 8-12 (Rock Creek) Oct10-Nov20

In the last 10 years all I got was two bull moose draws, two Roosevelt elk, a sheep, three mule deer does and one whitetail doe permit.

That really ticks me off. I know of others that have had bison more than once and other households that have had two in the same season.
I'd give up hunting for 1 season just to get a Bison draw.

Well after many years of trying I have once again come up dry I just dont get it, I have friends that get drawn year after year in pretty well the same area and once again I get nothing. I'm not complaining but soething just doesnt make sense when many enter for 20 plus years with nothing and others year after year get drawn in same areas.

My god one friend has gotten drawn every year for the last 10 years. Oh well I will still fill my freezer if the gods are with me.

Peter, Azshia and I got the NIL critters this year but we are good with that considering the 2 moose us girls put in the freezer last season

Peter will still be heading into the wild yonder for his regular trips he goes on and if health be lucky I may get to try out another Ali adventure on my own

with Azshia in full swing of her apprenticeship, probably a good thing she wont need to be running off to go into the hills
