Picatinny rail for 10/22???

My dad has one of those bushnell trophy red dot type scopes, and it will not fit on his base that came with the 10/22. So, what i'm asking is: 1. Will a picatinny rail fit on a 10/22? 2. will that scope fit on the picatinny rail? Or, could someone tell me where to buy a base that will fit the gun? Thanks.

Not 100% sure of that optical device, but the Weaver T09 is a very popular mounting system for the 10-22. Check the weaver site to be sure
