small population but the ocassional whopper shows up lots better places to go unless you are experienced and willing to take a chance on big or nothing.

I guided up by Pelly and there are some great spots for rams. Sometimes they are dry but when there are sheep there, as bridger pointed out....they are usually quite big.

Supposed to be some on the east side too, but I think Wicked River G/O struggles to find them.

I took a Ram north of Pelly Lake. 38" full curl. I stayed away from the outfitters trails. It was along time ago, but remember it well. As Bridger said, there are some hogs up there, Lots of glassing and hiking.

There are sheep in the Nabesch River/Dunlevy area just north of the Peace Arm....some are hunted by Christina Lake Outfitters out of Crying Girl Praire. I took quads across on a jet boat once from the Calazon/Clearwater road and almost got a legal Ram but he gave me the slip......to access this area, you need a boat that can haul quads and then quad in over 100 km's....will trade for other interesting info if you want to know more...PM me
