my family is thinking they'll allow a Brittany to join our ranks. it has to be on the smaller side of their maximum size though...aside from getting runts of a litter, anyone know of some Brittany's being bred for a smaller size by chance? for birding, of course.

females are typicaly smaller than males. Britts are good doge you should do ok. I have had three differnt britts and they remain one of my faves next to th GWP's that I raising now. good luck infinding what you are looking for. Just as a side most britts are pretty wired for the first couple of years they need lots of stimulatulation and exersise.

Hi,
Dave Walker is in Idaho and somewhat of a Brittany guru. They will ship pups if you like. His book is really excellent as well. http://www.davewalkerdogs.com/puppies.htm
