Kennetrek; quiet and dry from the outside elements. They don't breathe as well as I'd like however they do thier job quite well.

I've got a set of Browning gaiters, so far they've been great, and quiet too.

Kenetreks, OR flexible shorties, MEC same, Sitka Gear, but pricey and Kenetrek has some on sale now.

coast mountain sports have them. Get the best pair you can find. First time you use them you will never go without them. Wet BC = wet feet without them.

I picked up some rivers west ones several years ago. Rubber on the bottom grips the boots well, along the inside of the zipper and the outside is camo fleece. They're really quiet and act as knee high waders they're so waterproof.
The one rivers west product I like.

I have had browning and OR. I like OR crocadiles. Lifetime warranty that you will likely never need.

Don't use them.
Got the full length, full zip Marmot rain pants. Pretty much live in them when in the thick $hit.
Shell only, so nice and light. If it gets too hot, just unzip to suit or take them off.
Good elastic cuff on the bottom, so it helps on those quick creek crossings.

Swiss army issue. $16
weird material, like a coated felt.
quiet-ish and non-camo to boot.

I'm using a CMS (Coast Mountain Sport) brand and they are the best I've used or seen yet. I've had them for lots of mountain hunts for years now and they are still like brand new. The last pair of mine were Asolo and they only last 2 years.

im running my second set of OR's. there the best ive used or seen. my first pair went nearly 200 days in the yukon before giving up the ghost. the bottom strap wore through on them and the velcro stitching came out on one side.

i think the OR's are though the yukon is hard on gear and they lasted 2 falls yup there crawling on rock and riding through willows.

My vote is for cheap MEC gaiters.

I will agree most mec gear is crap but not there gaiters at least the old ones made by serratus in Burnaby I believe. Super well made still have a pair that are 17 years old and have over 700 days of use on them.
