Its about 20 below and the weather is awesome. Im planning on goiing out coyote hunting tomorrow. I have a predator squeal and im just wondering what type of calling patern should i use and how long do i do it for? i shoot a 22-250 with a bi pod for coyotes.

Id suggest calling for 15 seconds, then stay quiet and watch for 2-3 minutes
repeat
I usually stay on a stand for 20-30 minutes, then I will stop calling and wait for 10 minutes before moving on

well i just got back from a hunt. i did what you said firebird and man did it work awesome. 5 yotes came a runnin. i couldnt beleive how fast they were coming in. i ended up getting three of them. beautiful coats on them.

I have a sceery predator call. It was pretty neat seeing those yotes coming in. they came at a dead flat run. 12 mins thats all it took. i did get some pictures and will be posting them as soon as possible
