Jake and I fished a couple of weekends ago and got a couple of halibut and some coho out at 5 mile.
Here is a shot of our new bait and cleaning station I mounted on the Sculpin.

Last weekend we wanted to head outside to 5 mile but the weather would not let us . We ended up at Kirby Pt. with 3 coho in the boat. The weather picked up and we headed to the south side of King Edward Island and jigged the kelp beds.
Jake got this legal spring on a sting zelda in 50' of water with a huge bait ball on the depth sounder.

We headed home and came across a boat in the middle of the channel just past Poet's Nook adrift. We aproached them and the engine seemed liked it was smoking. The guy's on board were waving us down. I looked around and we were the only other boat in the area. As I approached them and got closer I could see they were piss ass drunk. They had no business being out there but Karma got the best of me. I agreed to tow them to China Creek (which is where we decided to launch that day as well as the downtown boat ramp line up was a mile long). It took us 2 1/4 hrs to get to China Creek doing about 8.5 knots:shock:. I got to the boat ramp and the guy gave me 100 bucks. I said thanks but really I was just happy that every one made it to shore safely and that I hope someone would do the same for me;-).
