The wife and I just got back from collecting some pics from our 2010 hunting spots and wanted to know your opinion on this bull moose.

Spike fork or not photo's a little dark and fuzzy what do you think.

Too early to tell = by the camera date his horns are still growing and not until the velvet has died and fallen off will you be able to tell

Elkdom is definitely right. Unless he palmates but doesn't manage to sprout more than two countable points on one side. It could happen, but don't plan your whole season on that one.

I actually am surprised at the picture quality of them. I got my 2 for $99 when Canadian tire had a special on them thinking they will be very very cheap but I really can't complain and so far I'm on my 4th week with the same batteries and no low bat light yet. The only thing is it don't take that great of pics at night as you noticed with these pics but im not going to complain for the price. How about yours

I agree with elkdum and Crabsinyerbush - that bull will be sproutin' a bouquet of points by September.

Ya, I think palmation is on the way with that guy. He is older than what you are hoping for I would suspect.

Thats a twenty five month old bull moose, so if it were 13 months it would have bin a spike/fork --

What's a moose LEH? Oh, you mean that piece of paper they gave me twice in 30 years? You're gonna have open sores from scratchin' a LONG time between moose LEHs. Moose should be on GOS, any bull.

I'm good for about one every seven or eight years. But moose are heavy and it takes me that long to recover anyway.

I make the most of the GOS's that exist. But the populations could certainly withstand more.

About the same I think I had it out last year for about 2-4 weeks without changing the batteries. The first day I set it up it took about 100 photos of the sunset. The picture quality at night is poor but I can't complain. I got mine of ebay for about the same cost last year. I will dig up some photos from it and post them.
