Quick Story

My wife & I went for a hike like we do every week but we decided to check out hope for a change as we have never been up that area. Nor will we go back kinda boring.

Any who on our hike up a f.s.r we stumbled across a newborn fawn and it's mommy. Kinda cool to get up close to one they are a beautiful creature. We couldn't resist taking pictures as it's not to often you get a chance to get close to one. I must say though we have been seeing a hell of alot of new borns in the last month which is nice to see.

I get that too. Then i get to hear how cute and cuddly bears look and just before hunting season she tells me how she wants to put all the deer in her yard till after the hunting season. Now that we live together, she can put the deer in the yard all she wants. It will save me a pile in gas money for the fall. :-D

Mommy wasn't at all impressed that her fawn started to walk at us. It had to be really really new born because it was still blind in the eyes and was very unsure of its footing. Kinda cute because mommy grunted to tell it to lay low and it did just that it dove to the ground and didn't move. Was kinda neat to see because it has that part of training pat down and it for sure blended in really well.

We took advantage of the situation as it probably wont happen to often.

Pretty new by the looks of the trouble it was having with the new stilts.
You want to hunt because....
You can save the complete winter die off by eliminating a few with a quick humane bullet....and feed your family quality food.

That little guy was probably licked clean within a few days prior to your video by the looks of the way he/she was walking. Pretty cool to see. Thanx for sharing.

Looks like me after a few wobbly pops. Saw a cow moose with two calfs yesterday. They were a couple weeks old I bet. good on their feet.

But I would sudgest next time not to approach the fawn. Sure great phots but wild animals need their space. give them repect.

my daughter took a look at the video and her first words were, now I say "DEER" DADDY "shoot" LOL hunter in training!!!!! i told her that these ones can go by woth out any trouble and then she saw the fawn and figured that daddy was right..... thanks for posting.... awesome video!!!!!!
