mulie maddness with reliable gun boys

i just got back from hands down the best hunting trip ever. i went with a crew of great guys, Sixdazzer and the Reliable Gun Store boys. hunting with good people makes the whole trip. when we first arrived it looked very grim as the fog was thick. it lifted a bit here and there to give us a few chances. the first kill was a heavy four point shot at approx. 60 yards in the neck and it was on the pole before noon. the second was sixdazzer's he was out walking around with doe pee on his legs and he found a nice area to sit and sure enough a four point walked up to him so it got the boom stick and on the pole it went. then it happened Spiner and i were creeping down this road and he shout's out "THERE HE IS" and bails out of the truck. i stop the truck and look back . he shoulders the 7mm and rips off a round. he downed a monster 5x5! . i had to pass the "crown" to my friend as his deer is the biggest out of our crew to date. we have an invisible crown we pass around. i think he will have his crown for a while.

Kinda off topic but just wanted to thank the boys from reliable gun for that model 700 sendro in 300 ultra mag they got in for me earlier this year thanks guy awsome mulies

i was thinkin the same thing, okanogan closed nov. 10 so these guys are either poachers, liars, or really slow to develop film and post up. nice bucks though!

:grin: Well glad it went well and you were succesfull.
I stopped going to reliable years ago when they drilled and tapped my rifle for a scope mount and it ended up on an angle.:-?
But hopefully they now know a bit more on how to do a job right.

Being that 3-12 is west of Okanagan Lake I'd say that's Okanaganish and it's open 'till Dec10th. I've seen some pictures of nice bucks taken in the last couple weeks in region 3.
