Well I have been reading about these grunt tubes and doe cans and decided to give them a go. I bought the Primos package with the tube/can & DVD. Day one of my hunt I got up at 0500 hrs, hunted all day and never saw a thing. At 1400hrs I was walking along the edge of the timber/field and at 150 yrds out walks a 2x3. I thought I should try to stop him before I shoot. I gave a grunt and he stopped and looked in my direction. [I was hidden behind a tree] I then gave the can a go and he started walking toward me. He stopped and I gave the can again. This happened three times. At 90 yrds he turned almost broadside and I thought I had better take him now. I stepped out in the open, lined up and shot. He went down on impact. The bullet hit in front of his left front leg and lodged under the hide between two ribs on the other. Very little meat damage. He was bigger than two of the 4 points I have taken. I tried that measuring the girth to estimate his weight. It showed him 228 live and 184 field dressed. He wasn't that big. He might have been about 150 field dressed at best. Mighty tastey buck. BCKID
