We went out for the first offshore trip of the year a couple of weekends ago. I took my father , first mate Jake, and my buddy Steve this trip. We were targeting ground fish.
The old man out fished us young guys and had a great time:-D. He's a little wobbily these days and was interesting watching him real them in. He caught a nice little chicken first then a nice ling cod right after that. I picked up a chicken myself and then my buddy Steve caught one. Jake didn't hook into anything but had a bite (very unusual for him as he out fish's us most of the time:oops:).

Heading out again this weekend maybe to Tofino.
