bringing the wife and son up to pg for a couple of days in the beggining of july neither have ever seen a moose is there somewhere i could go for a day drive in hopes of seeing one along with some shore fishing for trout? any pointers would be appreciated

Or just head north out of town on the highway......If you can drive 2 hours up and back without seeing one in the ditch that would be impressive....

thanks for the replies will take some of you up on the pms closer to the time, have spent a few years up in inzana area near fort st james but dont want to drive that far if it can be helped

Head into barkerville the old scenic town in Qusel its worth looking at ,you should see a moose on the way in to this scenic town.

if you just wanna see a moose ... go to Forests for the world park ... have a picnic at shane lake ...almost garantee a cow and a calf will show up on the edge of the lake ... (I almost have them patterned as I take my kids up there lots)
