Big Region 5 Mullie [Archive]

This morning Slick_MacD and I were out in Region 5 and I shot this big monster of a mullie. Last Sunday I got Slick_MacD in to the big Harrison Blacktail and this Sunday he repaid the favor by getting me into this buck. It was in the last 5 min of our hunt when we got a chance at him. We had spotted him at a distance as well as a large whitetail. Full On Rut!!! They were chasing does hot and heavy.

Beauty! Wish the season didnt end on the 30th for rifle or we woulda been going to 5. These pics are killing me!

Thanks guys. I have had a great year. I'm done hunting for this season. I can't wait to see what this boy is going to score officialy. A guy that has done a lot of scoring, figures by looking at him that he'll be in the 165 range.

AAAhhhh yes another southerner coming up to my bush and shooting my deer..LOL NICE BUCK !! I got my two out of region 5 ( meat deer ) one 4 point and one doe. still lots up here. I am hopefully going to help a few southerners fill their tags in bow season. MIKE
