well guys got my first grizz may 29th i went for a walk down an well area for grizzes i was walking down the area and went the farthest i evey went that day i made it around a corner started glassing seen nothing so i started slowly walking back to the truck i don't even make it around the corner were i just came from and there he was 180 yards away so i got down and started to line up on him making sure there were no cubs hanging out behind i felt the wind against my back so i new i did not have much time so i took my shot i hit him in the shoulder and he dropped right away as fast as i could reload he was up and gone i hit him with my 338wmg with 210 tripple shocks so i reloaded and gave him ten min so i started to make my way down and noteced he only made a 20 yd dash and died so it was done i got my first grizz its not a monster but my first
he was 6ft2 nose to tail 6in front pad i left him in the bush that night and went back early next morn to pack him out i had about a 2k pack back to the truck here are the picks

Congratulations-nice looking bear. I like the big blocky heads on the bears closer to the coast compared to the narrower longer heads on most mountain bears, they just look meaner. Ha!. Later

Wow, awesome bear. Definitely makes you think when they get up after getting hammered down, doesn't make a good feeling in the gut.

Good work . . . another one down! After the first they come easier. :) Great to see all the resident success this spring. Let's hope it continues into the fall.

BTW - It's bigger than my first!

Good job on a great bear KK!! Grizzlies have a different thrill factor than all the other NA game.
Do you have a pose in mind already for the mount?
