I nran this post a while back. so if ydo a serch you will find mine and severale post for the vortex scopes. I had one bad coment about the scope. I now own a 3x9x40 vortex scope and a 8x40 binox. I love them and would not hesitate and will buy them again. Go to Grouse River Outfitters in Kelowna talk to the boy's and compair the diferent brands.

I whole heartedly agree with N T S P on Vortex scopes AND binos. I'd like to acquire a spotting scope as well, but that's not likely to happen for a while.

I have (and do) recommend the Vortex line of optics a lot on here. I'm not affiliated with them in any way - I just believe in the products.

I've got a 3-9x40 Diamondback scope (couldn't afford the Viper) and a set of 8.5x50 Vulture binos. Excellent value! Excellent glass! Excellent warranty!

Grouse River Outfitters seem to have the best bang for the buck here in BC. Easy to deal with, great service/communication, and no BS.

It's slightly cheaper, at least for the diamondback. But GrouseRiver is offering free shipping right now! So it might even out 8-)
