View Full Version : Bear tags filled for 2009

Well I've been busy hunting bears for the last couple weeks, trying to get out when ever possible. I've ended up taking 2 great bears. I think I saw a few that were a little bigger than these guys, but in the end these 2 were a little tough to pass up on.


Bear 1. Measures out at 6'0 from nose to base of tail (thats a tad over 7ft from nose to back foot) and a 18 3/4 inch skull.

Bear 2 I shot yesterday afternoon. I'm pretty sure I saw him the week before, but before I had him figured out he was outa there. Had a better wind direction this and it worked out well. This guy is 6'2 from nose to tail and had a 18 1/2 inch skull. I think this guy was a tad heavier than the first. My dad and I had problems getting him on the atv, so we had to go get the trailer to load him up in lol.

If I didn't have a clean barrel, I wouldn't have had these results! These guys will be peperoni soon. Let me know next time your coming through town!
