It was a nice weekend out at the inlaws and there was quite a few pairs of ducks and geese on the lake so I tried to get a few shots. Hopefully they turn out ok.
Here's a pair of Ruddy's they have been coming back for the last 3 or 4 years and usually stay most of the summer.

Not sure the species of these guys but I'm sure it will be an easy one for the waterfowlers here.

There is two families of Canadas on the lake this year. Unfortunately this family lost a gosling earlier in the day to a couple crows:mad: I grabbed my 870 just as they were perched above the family feeding on the shore but i was too late and only fired off a shot in vein didn't connect with the black buggers.

That is the third gosling I have seen being packed away by crows this year and I have been trying to kill as many crows as I can. The father in law killed one the night before but I guess they are willing to risk it for an easy meal.
Anyways hope everyone enjoyed the weather over the weekend.
