Ok, I didn't dare post without pictures :)
We went for our Whitetail trip to the Kettle Valley and had great another great trip. I was there 2 weeks prior with my wife to see if we could get her a Whitey but we were too early. One partner could only make it for one day from Penticton and got a nice one. Rob got his the first day as well. I took mine on the second day at about 25-30 yards, neck shot. http://www.huntingbc.ca/photos/data/500/medium/01050012.JPG

Great harvest.

I'm heading up there next week. It's an annual event for us. Looking forward to it.

How many hunters and hunter days might be represented in that photo?

Well maybe, sort of. I was with 2 other guys. There are six cabins there so about a dozen guys or so.

There were somewhere around a dozen guys there when we were there. Most stay for an average of 5 days as a guess. Hunter days? I'd guess 2 or 3 days each average.

Hey Fozzy!! Nice Deer. He's almost a big as the one I saw on your front lawn 11 years ago when I moved in accross the street. Living in Nanaimo now, two kids and believe it or not, a cat! Say hi to your wife from the "D" family!

Very nice whitetail Fozzy .... them hanging poles are courtesy of the Double E Ranch. Very nice place. I have pics of the cabins in my gallery. Stayed there in Sept. ... was hoping to go back in Nov. Looks like we missed some good hunting.

Do you have a link to the Double E ranch?Do they rent out the cabins or is it private?

Double E or Triple E?

Double E
The cabins are for rent, very reasonable price. They offer the cabins year round for hunters, fisherman, people riding the KVR etc.
Neville and Marcelle are very nice people.

They have an ad on page 88 of the regs.

Freshtracks, were you there with your wife? I dropped in one day in Sept and there was a guy bow hunting with his wife. November-December is best for sure.
