Elk Lakes

I went out for a cruise today up to Elk Lakes to see if I could spot a blackie. No luck with seeing a black bear, but we did see 2 whitetails, 3 Mulies, A huge boar Grizz on the side of the road with a beautiful silver back, 6 Elk, two of them starting to grow antlers, and a grouse. Not bad for a few hours of driving. Anyone else been up there this spring?

Was up there a couple of weeks ago and drove to 130km. Heard Hydro may plow it out up to tobermory. Didn't see much wildlife then.

We went right up the whole way, the road is perfectly clear now. The hike into the lakes is still covered in snow though. We went in the afternoon and seen all of that wildlife, cant imagine what I would have seen in the morning/evening. I am planning on heading back up in the net few days.
