Friend of the family has property near bridal falls, Went up around 6:45 saturday evening and the bear was down around 7:00! Sometimes things just come together! Not huge he's a little under 5' and 175lbs-ish.

Ha yeah Dans my fishin buddy. We decided to buy coffee and take my friends car, instead of using the extra money for gas in my truck.. But it all worked out. he had one little cut on his snout which was scabbed over, Im thinking he got in the way of the big one I've seen.

Beautiful colour on that bear. And to think, in some parts of BC, that bear would be WAY too spiritual to shoot. Go figure! You didn't see a spirit escaping out the bullet hole did you??

Come to think of it I did hear some gurgling and saw steam coming out the bullet hole? Kind of similar to the sound of gases when gutting an animal, weird..
