well i decided i want to apply for and try to shoot a grizzly bear next spring my question to all of u is when do u guys put in for ur spring grizz? it says in the synopsis that u can put in after july something do u guys put in right away or do u way till the winter just before the deadline?

dont do like I did last winter and wait to mail your LEH until 4 days before the draw, it doesn't help your odds :(

mail it in right away, or you will more than likely forget.

If you mail it in early, they may file 13 it ( garbage can )
Its on my calender Aug 1st to "mail in LEH" , LEH is stapled to my calender , good to go.

they say they are ready to reaceice them in july some time so why would they file 13 them?

Some people like to wait until the new year as the Ministry releases the revised number of tags for each MU. Sometimes they change significantly from what is posted in the LEH synopsis and some MU's won't change. Obviously this can have a huge effect on the odds which may dictate your choice. I have seen MUs go from 8-10 tags in the synopsis down to 1 or 2 or from 20-25 to 40+ when the revised tag numbers come out. If you put in August banking on decent odds with the 8-10 tags, you may be pretty disapppointed if come the new year the ministry decides to only hand out one tag!!
