Looking for a new place to spend a few days fly fishing this year (mid July)
Found a resort at Thuya Lake (off HWY 24). Any comments on the lodge or fishing in the area would be appreciated. Thanks!

never been in to the lodge but there are good lakes all around.....like most of the interior the beetle have been rough on scenery....lots of ugly logging around right now.

I used to go there for a few days every year, haven't been for a few years now.
The cabins are (were) nice log cabins with wood stoves. There are two small lakes in front of the cabins that hold lots of small trout, they are great lakes for kids.
They also have boats on a dozen or so lakes that you can walk into. None of the lakes have huge trout, but if you are willing to hoof it a little, you can get into decent fish.

Nice camp, lots of wildlife in the area and decent fishing for smallish fish.
