Bullseye turnip seed

Anyone out there tried using the Bullseye turnip seed as an attractant for deer? Apparently it grows about 30 inches tall and deer love it. Not much of a root, mostly greens. Available in 2 lb bags at the local feed store, suposed to cover 1/4 acre per bag. They said they sold quite a bit of it, anyone in Pr George using it?

I thought baiting in BC was illegal, for every animal (cept maybe trapping).
