I would also like to know the harvest stats for cali's in region 8 as well. There must be a place to see all the the totals for sheep killed in B.C. I would like to see the C.I numbers for each region as well so that I could see the tends harvest total vs the sheep count numbers in that same year. Any help would be great thanks

don't have a link just info through the allocation committee which is public knowledge. The BCWF is in the process of setting up the resident hunting and fishing protection fund website. when we get it running that is the kind of info we will be posting.

i can't wait for this to happen and that is a great asset to have for us resident hunters. as for the public access to information for other stats ,where would ya find that kind of info

region 7b stone sheep harvest

2007

Total Harvest--------199
resident harvest----- 118
non res harvest------ 81

2008

Total Harvest---------194
resident harvest------111
non resident harvest--83

In 2007 the new allocation policy resulted in a 20% reduction in non resident quotas. From 137 to 109. the articfical controls on residents were taken off. No 1-3 and for the first time in a long time residents harvested more rams that the non resident. In 2012 with the full implementation of the allocation policy non resident quota will go to 72 rams.

the top mu for harvest is 7-50

hope you find this helpful

That's from 2005. There's an [error filled] version published in BC Outdoors Hunting & Shooting each summer.
