well hunting partner forgot to get a tag yesterday and cant seem to find a place open today.

does anyone know somewhere that is open to buy a bear tag today?

try the PINK MOUNTAIN General Store, Gas bar, Campsite and Liquor Vendor, Hunting and Fishing license vendor, at about Mile 146 on the Alaska Highway, they are open pretty much every day of the YEAR, and they cater to hunters! :neutral:

Most anyplace that sells hunting and fishing licences .... Can Tire ... Most Mohawk gas stations .... just to name a few

If you look in your hunting booklet were the tags go it has a list of game animals that fall under the 24hr rule, but black bear isn't listed. Grizzly bear are though.

Also in regulations is states.

valid until 2 days after the date of issue. And black bear doesn't have the * <------------ next to it.

Ya I couldnt recall ... If it was for Blackies and grizz or just Grizz ...My booklet is not anywhere near me at this time

Very true I have my license and tags in my wallet oh did I mention I bought them from a walmart. I think you forgot to read when I said MOST walmarts. Next step go to the closes wall and bang your hear 5 times then turn in circles 9 times and scream our loud I need a bear tag and look again for another walmart one that's not so new and retar*ed.
