Amazing bear day...

Yesterday Susan and I drove to Grande Prairie Alberta and back from Williams Lake..I STILL had my buddies coffe mug and wanted to return it..:eek:

We left at 5:30 am..:roll: drove to Grande Prairie Alberta and spent 30 minutes there..delivered the coffee cup..:D..and then drove home..arriving back in Williams Lake at 12:30 am..

The reason for this ????? On the way there and back we saw 15 different black bears..:eek:...most were small to medium...4 were brown in color..and two were in the 7 foot range...one was a HUGE brown colored blackie..

Most of the bears were seen along Mcleod lake North of Prince George...

Yes unfortunatley Joe IS addicted to his coffee...lol

The area along side Mcleod lake for that time span had one of the highest density of bears I have ever seen...

We saw moose...mulies and whites...foxes and coyotes..eagles...

OOPS yes we DID see some farmed elk in pens...

I drive the road on the daily (mackenzie to pg) and see elk and TONS of bears I average about 15-20 a day in 2 trips back and forth between mackenzie and pg. moose galore and eagles foxes yotes beavers so on and so forth.

That is an amazing bear day .We saw alot of bears and moose through that same stretch on a spring hunt one year.

yes it was a quality time kinda day..Susan and I with NO CHANCE of escaping each other ..so good conversations like ' WATCH OUT FOR THAT MOOSE !!!!! WHAT MOOSE???lol
