Hi all,
So, my hunting partner got this substitute grizzly draw 7-39. Area we did not plan to go and have very limited knowledge of. Nevertheless we have decided to give it a try. Checked maps,Google earth ,searched internet and etc. i have talked to some guys and comments were like "grizzly everywhere you go". Very encouraging. There is not much access and afraid there will be lot of snow on side roads.No ATV allowed. Going light on convenience stuff (no camper,no heavy stoves,minimum gear), but heavy on fuel and resque gear. Two plans so far,still debating which is better:
1.Go toward Ingenika mine and along Swannell river
2.Drive by Osilinka FSR toward Tatlatui park.
Idea is to go and see. since we do not know area and distances are huge,planing not to make any permanent camp . Just drive truck as far as we can than walk and explore places around.
I would be thankfull for any comments from fellow forum members familiar with areas.Any experiences to share ? any advice where to search or where to stop ?
